FAQ
Content Strategy Consultation Questions
Business Spotlights & Media
Part 1: Business Spotlights and On Site Media
Do you only promote restaurants?
No. While food culture is a major part of my platform, I showcase all kinds of businesses. That includes barbershops, gyms, clothing boutiques, aesthetic clinics, Airbnbs, luxury stays, cruises, nightlife spots, and creator collaborations.
My Policy on Authenticity and Integrity
I do not do fake influencer marketing. A lot of creators will endorse anything just for a check, but I refuse to compromise my integrity or push low quality services for money.
-
Real Recommendations: People know when a video is fake, and they tune it out. My followers know I only share places I genuinely love, which means my audience deeply trusts my recommendations. When we collaborate, your business gets high trust visibility that money alone cannot buy.
-
Selective Collaborations: To feature your business on my pages, it must meet high quality standards and fit my personal style. I only post about places I personally research, use, and love. I retain full legal right of refusal to turn down any promo that does not fit my audience or standards.
-
Honest Reviews & FTC Rules: Booking a promotion covers my production time and page exposure, but it does not buy a fake review. All sponsored posts follow standard FTC rules and disclosures to keep full trust with my audience.
Branding & Social Media Mentorship For All Industries
While my public endorsements are highly selective, my hands on coaching, website design, and social media strategy services are open to everyone.
Whether you are a lawyer, plumber, makeup artist, doctor, musician, or contractor, I will teach you the exact strategy, gear setup, and content plan you need to build your own online presence and scale your business.
I only promote what I genuinely love, but I give every business owner the exact tools to build an unstoppable brand.
What is the difference between a Spotlight Feature and an In House Media Collection?
These are two completely different services built for two different goals:
-
Spotlight Feature (Public Network Promotion): This is a full promotional campaign where I visit your venue, appear on camera, feature your business, and market your brand directly to my followers. Content is posted across my official platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, Twitch, and TikTok. Posts include your official business tags, location details, phone numbers, and direct booking links to drive traffic to your door.
-
In House Media Collection (Internal Brand Assets): This is strictly behind the camera content creation built for your own business use. I act as your video producer, capturing high quality raw footage and photos of your venue, products, or team without my face or voice appearing on camera. You can use these assets on your website, ads, or social media.
Important Terms for In House Media Collections:
-
Raw Content Only (No Editing): Standard packages cover live filming and raw asset handoff only. They do not include video editing, color correction, or photo retouching. Editing packages require separate service fees.
-
Device Privacy & Safety: To protect your personal data, you do not need to share passcodes or unlock your device. If filming on your phone, I only use the camera tool directly from your lock screen. I never access your private files, messages, or apps.
-
Device Handling & Storage: Clients assume full physical and financial responsibility for their personal production devices. I am not liable for pre existing defects, software glitches, battery issues, drops, or data loss. You are also responsible for making sure your device has enough internal storage space for the files.
-
Usage Rights: You receive a non exclusive license to publish delivered raw media strictly for your own internal business marketing. You may not resell, sub license, or monetize the raw assets to third parties.
-
Guest Releases: Your venue assumes full legal responsibility for getting necessary media releases from your staff and patrons present during filming.
Can I have the raw footage or working files from a Spotlight Feature?
No. Under copyright law, Patrick Blackwood retains exclusive legal copyright and ownership of all raw video footage, photos, audio, and master project files created during a Spotlight Feature.
A Spotlight Feature provides public marketing exposure across my media network. It does not transfer raw camera files or master media rights to the business.
Key Terms & Disclaimers:
-
Raw Media Assets Policy: Raw unedited footage, unused captures, audio tracks, and project files are proprietary assets and will not be provided, sold, or transferred.
-
Storefront & Logo Rights: By booking a feature, you grant Patrick Blackwood a worldwide, royaltyfree license to display your business name, logos, storefront, signage, and merchandise across my media network.
-
Likeness Consent: Anyone brought onto the set or permitted in the filming area grants permanent consent for their image, voice, and likeness to be recorded and published. Your business assumes full legal responsibility for securing parental consent for any minors on site.
-
Creative Discretion & No Refunds: All creative decisions including camera angles, lighting, editing style, and pacing are at the sole discretion of Patrick Blackwood. Disliking personal appearance, outfit choices, angles, or public comments does not qualify for refunds or re and their loyalty forshoots.
-
Takedown Requests: If you ask to remove a published Spotlight Feature after it goes live, I may delete it as a courtesy, but all service fees remain strictly 100% non refundable. Deleting a post does not grant raw file access or re shooting rights.
-
Approved Sharing Methods: You are encouraged to share posts using native social media tools like reposts, story shares, collaborator tags, and direct links. Downloading, screen recording, or re uploading copyrighted video files to outside channels without permission is strictly prohibited.
What are the financial, venue, and product requirements for a commercial feature shoot?
All featured products, services, beauty procedures, menu items, production expenses, and venue logistics must be 100% sponsored and covered by the establishment. All items must be camera-ready upon arrival.
Venue & Expense Terms:
-
Zero Out of Pocket Expenses: The venue covers all financial responsibility for featured products, services, food, drinks, tax, and tips. The venue must also provide or reimburse on site parking, valet fees, and travel tolls. Patrick Blackwood pays zero out of pocket expenses before, during, or after production.
-
Safety & Sanitation: The venue guarantees that all facilities, tools, products, and food items strictly comply with professional licensing and health codes. Patrick Blackwood holds zero liability for adverse reactions, infections, or injuries resulting from provided goods or services.
-
Service Autonomy: Patrick Blackwood retains full discretion over what he tests or consumes. While items will be showcased on camera, he cannot be forced to undergo invasive procedures or consume specific ingredients against his personal discretion.
-
Presentation Liability: Media captures reflect the exact service quality and presentation provided by your staff. Patrick Blackwood is a visual media producer, not a product stylist, and carries zero liability for poor presentation created by the venue.
-
Takeaway Goods: All sponsored physical products, menu items, or goods provided for the shoot become the property of the production team upon delivery.
-
Operational Delays: Delays or equipment failures caused by the venue count directly toward scheduled shoot time and do not entitle the venue to free extra filming hours.
Why do you use an iPhone instead of huge cameras and heavy studio lights?
Smartphones are natural, familiar, and low threat. Large production crews with cinema cameras, heavy tripods, softboxes, and boom mics invade your space, create tension, and ruin the natural vibe of your business. Big setups make customers and staff feel self conscious and stiff.
I intentionally shoot using a high end mobile setup to give your business maximum creative authenticity and complete legal protection:
-
Human Comfort: People are comfortable around mobile phones. This removes camera shyness and captures genuine human energy that staged commercials cannot replicate.
-
No Trip Hazards: Heavy camera rigs and trailing power cords create slip and trip hazards for your paying customers and staff. A mobile footprint completely eliminates equipment liability on your property.
-
No Permit Disruptions: Large equipment often triggers strict permit mandates and venue restrictions. A discreet mobile setup captures high quality media without operational interference.
-
Relatable, High Converting Content: Modern social media audiences scroll past stiff, overly staged commercials. Authentic mobile captured content builds immediate trust and engagement.
Production Style Disclaimer:
Our style centers on capturing organic, candid, and authentic establishment atmosphere. We do not provide staged, heavily rehearsed Hollywood productions.
Why do you ask to turn down background music while filming?
Commercial music and loud TV audio trigger automated copyright detection systems across social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat. These digital flags cause promotional videos to be muted, restricted, or removed entirely. Temporarily lowering background audio during speaking segments keeps your video live permanently.
Audio Terms:
-
Venue Responsibility: Controlling interior background noise, overhead speakers, live DJs, and TVs is strictly the responsibility of the establishment.
-
Failure to Adjust Audio: If the venue refuses or fails to lower background music during filming, production proceeds as scheduled. Service fees remain non refundable, and Patrick Blackwood carries zero liability for muted videos or copyright flags.
-
Ambient Noise: Natural location acoustics, outdoor traffic, and HVAC systems are normal parts of on site production and do not qualify for free re shooting.
-
Client Supplied Audio: If you supply specific music tracks or voiceovers, you guarantee you hold full legal commercial licensing for those assets.
What platforms will my business be featured on and how are posts shared?
Instead of charging premium rates for a single post on one page, Patrick Blackwood maximizes your reach by distributing your content across his entire active multi platform network at no extra charge.
Promotional content is cross distributed across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and X. Your shoot is turned into short form videos, feed posts, Shorts, Reels, and YouTube Community updates to give your business maximum online visibility.
Sharing & Distribution Terms:
-
Tagging & Collaborations: Where features allow, I invite your account as a collaborator, tag your business handles, and include your location, phone number, website, or booking link directly in descriptions.
-
Story Expiration: Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook Stories expire automatically after 24 hours per platform rules.
-
Account Eligibility: Tagging and collaborator options depend strictly on your account being active, public, and unrestricted.
-
Viral Public Sharing: Once content is published online, public sharing, reposting, and audience resharing are standard internet actions. Patrick Blackwood has zero control over third party resharing or public audience comments.
Do you guarantee specific view counts or sales results?
No. Patrick Blackwood offers no promises or legal guarantees regarding view counts, viral exposure, algorithm performance, customer inquiries, or sales revenue.
Social media algorithms and viewer actions are controlled exclusively by third party tech platforms. Converting public media exposure into paying clients depends entirely on your business model, customer service, pricing, and product quality. Lower view counts or algorithm changes do not entitle a client to refunds or free additional filming sessions.
Our scope of service is strictly defined as delivering professional mobile production execution, high quality media capture, and dedicated creative effort.
Will your filming interfere with my operating hours or guests?
My production footprint is small, mobile, and discreet, designed to blend into your daily operations:
-
Strategic Timing: Live speaking promotions are best filmed during your slower hours or a quiet window to ensure crisp audio. (If you prefer filming during peak hours to capture crowd energy, we can capture visual B roll and overlay voiceovers).
-
Music Adjustments: Background music is paused or turned down very low strictly during speaking segments and turned right back up when speaking wraps.
-
Designated Filming Area: We work with your management to choose a well lit, low traffic area that keeps walkways open and guests comfortable.
-
Guest Privacy: The establishment is responsible for managing guest privacy preferences and posting standard filming notices if required. Guests who prefer not to appear on camera should be seated outside the primary filming area.
-
Staff Readiness: An owner, manager, or point of contact must be present during the shoot to coordinate details.
How fast will I receive content or see my posts go live?
Turnaround times depend on the service package booked:
-
In House Cell Phone Footage on Client Device: If I film directly on your personal mobile device, delivery is instant with zero wait time (provided your device has enough storage).
-
In House Media Collection for Client Use: If filmed on my production gear for your internal use, files are transferred via AirDrop on site (if storage permits) or offloaded at my studio, adding 24 to 72 hours.
-
Spotlight Feature Posts: For promotional media created for my network, standard turnaround is 24 to 72 hours from the end of filming until posts go live. A 12 Hour VIP Rush option is available for grand openings or live events.
-
Custom Channel and Website Builds: Custom website and channel builds take 7 to 21 business days.
Terms for Custom Channel & Website Builds:
-
The 7 to 21 business day delivery window begins only after you have provided 100% of all required setup materials (logos, photos, branding details, and login access).
-
Custom builds include 1 free round of minor revisions. Major redesigns or extra revision rounds extend delivery timelines and require additional fees.
-
All setup assets must be submitted within 30 days of booking. Failure to provide materials within 30 days puts the project on official hold, and resuming will require a project reactivation fee with no cash refunds.

Booking & Financial Policies
Part 3: Booking, Rates, Travel and Business Policies
How do I book a shoot or mentorship session with you?
All mentorships, group workshops, and production shoots begin with an initial thirty minute strategy consultation. Booking a consultation ensures we evaluate your specific goals, assess your project needs, determine mutual brand fit, and select the exact package required for your success before locking in dates on the master calendar.
The Strategy Consultation Process:
-
Step One, Schedule Your Thirty Minute Call: Click any booking button on this site to select your thirty minute strategy call. The consultation fee is eighty five dollars and must be paid in full at the time of scheduling.
-
Step Two, Choose Your Preferred Communication Method: Strategy calls are conducted virtually via Phone Call, FaceTime, Zoom, or WhatsApp, depending on your location and convenience.
-
Step Three, Goal Evaluation and Strategic Alignment: During our thirty minutes together, we review your digital presence, outline your content goals, assess technical requirements, and determine if my custom mentorship or production services align with your vision.
-
Step Four, Custom Package Selection and Date Confirmation: If we agree that the project is a mutual fit, we select your official service tier and lock in your agreed upon dates and time slots on the master production schedule.
Mandatory Preparation Requirements and Client Responsibilities:
-
Required Preparation and Written Question List: To maximize your thirty minute session, clients must arrive fully prepared. You are required to have a written list of specific questions, target goals, social media account links, and brand objectives ready prior to the start of the call.
-
Preparedness Impact on Call Time: Strategy calls begin promptly at the scheduled time. If a client arrives unprepared or without clear goals, consultation time will be spent defining basic concepts, and the session will still end strictly at the thirty minute mark.
Important Booking Terms, Boundaries, and Consultation Policies:
-
No Guarantee of Future Booking or Acceptance: Booking and completing an eighty five dollar strategy consultation does not guarantee acceptance into a mentorship program, group workshop, or video production shoot. Consultation fees cover professional evaluation and advice only.
-
Strict Non Refundable Service Fee Policy: The eighty five dollar consultation fee covers thirty minutes of direct, expert evaluation, strategic planning, and professional advice. Consultation fees are strictly non refundable once booked, regardless of whether either party decides to proceed with a full contract.
-
Strict Thirty Minute Hard Stop: Sessions strictly conclude at the thirty minute mark to respect production and coaching calendars. Unused minutes are non transferable, and calls cannot be extended on the spot without booking a new session.
-
No Unsolicited Follow Up Advice or Messaging: The consultation fee applies strictly to the live thirty minute strategy session. It does not include post call text coaching, audio voice notes, direct messaging advice, or ongoing email consultation.
-
Punctuality and No Show Policy: Clients are required to be available at the exact scheduled appointment time via the chosen platform. If a client fails to attend the call or is more than ten minutes late, the session is forfeited without refund or time extensions.
-
Rescheduling Requirements: Consultation appointments may be rescheduled one time only, provided written notice is submitted at least twenty four hours prior to the scheduled session time.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept secure online credit and debit card payments directly through my official website checkout system, as well as direct electronic payments via Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo.
Streamlined Payment Experience:
-
Multiple Convenient Digital Options: You can choose whichever approved digital payment platform is most convenient for you during checkout or invoice settlement.
-
Instant Confirmation and Calendar Reservation: Once your payment fully clears, your consultation, mentorship session, or production shoot date is immediately confirmed and locked into the master calendar.
Important Payment Terms, Third Party Disclaimers, and Refund Delivery Policies:
-
Independent Third Party Financial Platform Immunity: Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and credit card processing systems operate strictly as independent third party financial services. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand carries zero liability for third party app glitches, daily bank transfer limits, account holds, card declines, or processing delays imposed by your personal financial institution.
-
Client Responsibility for Bank Fees and Charges: Clients are strictly responsible for complying with the terms, conditions, transfer limits, and transaction fees established by their own banks or chosen payment apps. Any third party processing fees or transfer costs are the sole responsibility of the client.
-
Payment Clearance Required Prior to Service or Filming: Services, consultation calls, and production shoots will not commence, nor will calendar dates be held, until full payment or required balances have completely cleared. For on location filming shoots, any remaining balance must be paid in full upon arrival before filming begins.
-
Prohibition of Unlawful Chargebacks and Disputes: All fees paid for completed strategy calls, digital products, and delivered services are final. Initiating fraudulent credit card chargebacks or false payment disputes with your bank for services already rendered is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate collections action and legal reporting.
-
Standardized Refund Delivery Method and Processing Window: In the rare event that a refund is officially approved under our contractual terms, the refund will be issued using the exact same payment method utilized during the original transaction. If the original payment method is unavailable or cannot receive funds, the approved refund will be issued via official company check sent by mail within seven to twenty one business days.
Do I have to pay upfront for mentorship or video shoots?
Yes. All virtual mentorship sessions, strategy consultation calls, and digital setups require full payment at the time of booking. For live production shoots and content creation days, a fifty percent initial deposit is required at booking to lock your date on the master calendar.
How the Fifty Percent Deposit and Payment Rules Work:
-
Non Refundable Deposit: The initial fifty percent deposit secures your reserved date, locks out other clients, and covers prep work. All initial deposits are strictly non refundable.
-
Remaining Balance Due Upon Arrival: For on location filming shoots, the remaining fifty percent balance must be paid in full and cleared immediately upon arrival on site, before any equipment is unpacked or filming begins.
-
Rescheduling Policy: If you need to change your shoot or mentorship date, you must provide written notice at least forty eight hours prior to your session. Your deposit will be applied toward a one time rescheduled date within sixty days. Cancellations made with less than forty eight hours notice forfeit the deposit completely.
What is the YouTube Channel Spotlight 30 Day 24/7 Rotation?
The YouTube Channel Spotlight 30 Day 24/7 Rotation is a high exposure digital billboard advertising package featured across my YouTube channel network. Just like a digital highway billboard that continuously rotates advertisements for different local businesses, your promotional video runs continuously in a non stop broadcast loop, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, for thirty full days.
Strategic Network Placement and Niche Matching:
My media network includes multiple distinct platforms including Patrick Blackwood, Patrick Blackwood Eats, Patrick Blackwood Vlogs, and Blackwood EX Files. To protect viewer engagement and deliver maximum advertising value, featured media is assigned strictly to the channel that best matches your target market. For example, restaurant features are placed on food focused channels, while barbershops, boutiques, and lifestyle brands are routed to vlog and lifestyle channels.
Ad Length Specifications and Flat Rate Network Pricing:
-
Promotional Video Length Limits: Individual video advertisements within the continuous broadcast rotation must be a minimum of thirty seconds and a maximum of three minutes long. Submitting video clips outside these time specifications is not permitted to ensure fair rotation timing for all advertisers.
-
Uniform Flat Rate Network Pricing: Package pricing remains a fixed flat rate across all network channels regardless of subscriber counts, follower metrics, or channel sizes. Placement is determined by audience relevance rather than subscriber volume, and subscriber variations between channels do not entitle advertisers to discounted rates or price modifications.
Billing Cycles, Late Additions, and Monthly Term Rules:
-
Standard First of the Month Cycle: Rotation slots run on a standard monthly schedule beginning on the first day of every calendar month. To maintain continuous placement for another month, renewal payments must be submitted prior to the first of the upcoming month.
-
Late Mid Month Sign Ups and Flat Monthly Rates: If a client insists on being added mid month after the official cycle has started, the client remains responsible for paying the full standard thirty day rotation package fee. Mid month placements run through the final day of that active monthly block without prorated discounts or partial rate reductions.
-
Calendar Month Term Standard: A full monthly rotation term covers one calendar month as defined by the official calendar year. Standard monthly package pricing applies uniformly regardless of month length variations, including twenty eight day terms during February.
Important Technical Rules, Live Chat Terms, and Early Removal Protocols:
-
Written Early Removal Protocol and Seventy Two Hour Window: If an advertising client requests early removal from the active rotation prior to the end of their term, a formal request must be submitted in writing via official email. To accommodate production workflows and administrative schedules, removal will be executed within seventy two hours of the email being opened and acknowledged. Early removal requests do not entitle the client to full partial or prorated refunds, and unused days are completely forfeited.
-
Public Live Chat Immunity and Viewer Commentary Release: Continuous live streams include a public live chat feature accessible to internet viewers worldwide. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand holds zero liability or responsibility for viewer comments, public chat opinions, internet trolling, spam, or third party user behavior occurring within the live chat box.
-
Technical Interruption and Fair Make Up Time Policy: Live streaming requires third party software, internet connectivity, and YouTube platform servers. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand is not liable for temporary stream disruptions, Wi Fi drops, power outages, or platform technical glitches. If a technical issue drops the stream for an extended period, the exact amount of lost broadcast time will be added directly onto the end of your term, ensuring you receive your full broadcast visibility.
-
Scheduled Stream Restarts and Maintenance: Periodic stream restarts, system updates, and server refreshes are necessary to maintain stream quality. Brief operational restarts fall within normal service parameters and do not count as lost broadcast time.
-
No Guarantee of Viewer Traffic or Sales: While your advertisement runs continuously, live viewership fluctuates naturally based on platform traffic, algorithms, and time of day. Placement provides round the clock advertising exposure, but Patrick Blackwood Media Brand makes zero guarantees regarding specific live view counts, sales conversions, website clicks, or customer acquisition.
-
Non Exclusive Shared Rotation Terms: Unless an exclusive single sponsor agreement is secured in writing, featured placements are shared within a multi business advertising montage. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand maintains sole discretion over stream ordering, montage transitions, and non competing business selections.
-
Platform Policy Compliance: All submitted video media, promotional clips, and business links must comply fully with YouTube Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand reserves the right to remove any promotional media that violates platform standards without refund.
What is the Ready to Post AI Caption and Engagement Engine?
The Ready to Post AI Caption and Engagement Engine is a monthly copywriting and strategy service that provides local businesses with a complete digital library of custom social media captions, algorithmic hashtag clusters, and sales driving call to action prompts. Designed to eliminate daily writer block, this service gives you a full month of ready to post captions tailored directly to your specific products, services, or menu items.
How the Custom Caption Service Works:
-
Custom Quantity Tiers: Depending on your selected package tier, you receive between fifteen and thirty or up to fifty custom prewritten captions delivered directly to your registered email address in an easy copy and paste format.
-
Detailed Client Intake Requirement: To generate accurate and engaging copy, clients must submit comprehensive product details in writing prior to production. For example, restaurant clients promoting a specific sushi roll must provide full dish names, primary ingredients, unique flavor profiles, pricing, and promotional goals.
-
Flexible Daily Posting Engine: Content batches are structured so you can select and pair the best caption option with your daily photos, Reels, or TikTok uploads, ensuring your social media pages remain active every day of the month.
Strict Revision Limits, Post Delivery Immunity, and Client Execution Rules:
-
Single Included Revision Round: Deliverables include one single complimentary revision round. If the initial batch of captions requires adjustments, the client must submit all updated business information, specific edits, and clarified promotional notes in a single written request. Once the revised batch is delivered, the project is officially completed. Additional revision requests require separate production fees.
-
Strict Non Account Management and No System Access Policy: The Ready to Post AI Caption Engine is strictly a digital copywriting asset service delivered via email. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand does not log into client social media accounts, schedule posts, manage social feeds, add links to external websites, or feature client assets on official brand channels. The client carries full responsibility for copying, pasting, and publishing the text onto their own platforms.
-
Complete Immunity for Public Reactions Comments and Responses: Once the caption file is emailed, Patrick Blackwood Media Brand holds zero liability or responsibility for public reactions, customer comments, audience feedback, internet engagement, or social media responses resulting from the published copy. The client assumes total responsibility for all content posted to their personal or commercial channels.
-
AI Generated Copywriting Disclosure: Captions, hashtag clusters, and promotional prompts provided in this engine are created utilizing advanced artificial intelligence software systems optimized for digital marketing. By purchasing this service, clients acknowledge and accept the AI generated nature of the content deliverables.
-
Client Responsibility for Accuracy and Allergen Disclaimers: Patrick Blackwood Media Brand creates copy based strictly on information submitted by the client. The client assumes total responsibility for verifying factual accuracy, dish ingredients, dietary notices, allergen disclaimers, special offer details, and pricing prior to posting.
-
No Guarantee of Sales or Algorithmic Reach: While captions are engineered with strong call to action prompts and targeted local hashtag strategies, social media performance depends heavily on visual media quality, account authority, and posting consistency. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand makes zero guarantees regarding specific follower growth, post engagement rates, website clicks, or direct sales revenue.
-
Digital Asset Delivery and Non Refundable Service Fee: All caption batches are delivered electronically via email. Due to the custom digital nature of written strategy assets, all sales are final once content generation has commenced or deliverables have been emailed to the client.

Upfront Travel Funding and Full Expense Coverage Policy:
For all out of town, out of state, or international bookings, the client is strictly responsible for covering one hundred percent of all travel, lodging, meal, and transit expenses in full. Travel expenses are billed separately and are completely additional to standard production, consulting, and filming fees. All estimated travel expenses must be paid in full to Patrick Blackwood Media Brand prior to any travel bookings being executed. Travel arrangements will not be purchased, and calendar dates will not be locked until full travel funds have completely cleared.
Mandatory Travel Accommodations, Flight Standards, and Non Stop Flight Policy:
-
Strict Non Stop Direct Flight Requirement: Air travel must consist strictly of direct non stop flights. Layovers, connecting flights, and multi city transfers are strictly prohibited to prevent missed connections, luggage loss, travel fatigue, and hub airport delays.
-
Approved Major Airline Carriers: Air travel must be booked exclusively through major reputable commercial airlines such as Delta Air Lines or American Airlines in standard main cabin or higher. Flights on low cost budget carriers or unverified regional discount airlines are strictly prohibited.
-
Preferred Flight Time Window: Flight schedules must be booked within the preferred window of ten o clock AM to three o clock PM to avoid peak traffic delays, late night airport hazards, and transit exhaustion.
-
Excess Luggage and Equipment Fees: The client is strictly responsible for covering all airline baggage and excess equipment fees required to transport cameras, lighting gear, tripods, and production tools safely to and from the destination.
-
Comfortable Hotel Lodging and Ground Transit: The client is responsible for covering single occupancy individual hotel lodging at safe, comfortable, highly rated commercial hotel properties. Covered ground expenses include rental cars, rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, airport parking, highway tolls, and a flat daily meal per diem.
Mandatory Buffer Days and Shooting Schedule Protocol:
-
Pre Shoot Arrival Buffer Day: The client must fund travel arrangements that arrive at the destination location one full calendar day prior to the scheduled shoot or mentorship session. For example, if filming takes place on Monday, travel funds must cover an arrival flight on Sunday to eliminate transit delays and guarantee an on time production start.
-
Post Shoot Departure Buffer Day: The client must fund travel arrangements that depart one full calendar day following the completion of filming. For example, if filming ends on Thursday, departure travel must be scheduled for Friday to allow for media offloading, exporting high resolution content files to external hard drives, equipment repacking, and final project wrap up without rushed timelines.
Daily Shooting Time Limits and Backend Working Hours:
-
Four Hour Maximum Daily Filming Cap: A standard on location production day consists of a single four hour filming block maximum to ensure maximum creative energy, optimal lighting conditions, and high quality execution.
-
Dedicated Backend Media Processing Time: Hours outside the four hour filming block are strictly reserved for post production tasks, including organizing raw media, exporting high resolution files to external hard drives, backing up footage, charging production equipment, and preparing initial content drafts. Clients do not hold access to creator time outside the official four hour production block.
-
Overtime and Additional Production Blocks: Filming beyond the four hour daily cap must be requested and approved prior to the shoot date and will be billed in advance at our standard hourly overtime rate.
Travel Delays, Weather Immunity, and Rescheduling Terms:
-
Complete Travel Disruption Immunity: Patrick Blackwood Media Brand carries zero liability or financial responsibility for travel delays, flight cancellations, train derailments, vehicle breakdowns, severe weather disruptions, or mechanical failures governed by third party transit companies.
-
Client Responsibility for Delay Expenses: If transit disruptions, severe weather, or airline delays extend the duration of the trip, the client assumes full financial responsibility for any additional hotel nights, extended vehicle rentals, flight change penalties, and daily meal expenses incurred.
-
Travel Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: Production deposits and paid travel funds are strictly non refundable once tickets or lodging are booked. If a client cancels or requests to reschedule a destination shoot, the client assumes total responsibility for all airline ticket change fees, non refundable hotel penalties, and replacement travel costs required to rebook the trip.
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and General Business Policies
Overview of Core Policies
-
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
All initial booking deposits, consultation fees, and upfront package payments are strictly non refundable under any circumstances. Booking a date reserves exclusive space on the master production calendar, locking out other paying clients and securing administrative setup time. Clients are strictly responsible for reading, understanding, and agreeing to all Terms and Conditions outlined on this website prior to submitting payment.
-
Forty Eight Hour Written Notice Requirement: If you need to change your shoot, mentorship session, or virtual consultation date, you must submit a formal written notice via official email at least forty eight hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
-
One Time Deposit Transfer: Provided proper forty eight hour written notice is received, your initial fifty percent deposit or consultation payment will transfer as a credit toward a one time rescheduled date. Rescheduled sessions must occur within sixty calendar days of the original date.
-
Calendar Availability Standard: Production dates book weeks and months in advance. Rescheduled dates are subject strictly to current calendar availability and will be assigned to the next available open slot at sole brand discretion.
-
Late Rescheduling Requests: Rescheduling requests submitted with less than forty eight hours notice are treated as late cancellations and forfeit the entire deposit. Rebooking will require a brand new fifty percent deposit.
-
Total Cancellation Forfeiture: If a client chooses to cancel a project completely rather than reschedule, one hundred percent of the initial deposit or advance payment is forfeited to cover administrative holding fees, calendar displacement, and lost business opportunities.
-
On Location Arrival Balance Obligations: For live production shoots, the remaining fifty percent balance is due upon arrival on site before filming begins. If a client cancels on the day of the shoot or fails to provide the remaining balance upon arrival, the session is immediately cancelled, the deposit is forfeited, and any travel expenses incurred remain non refundable.
-
No Show Forfeiture: Failing to attend a scheduled virtual consultation, mentorship session, or live shoot without prior written notice constitutes an immediate no show, resulting in total project cancellation and forfeiture of all funds paid.
-
Travel and Third Party Non Refundable Costs: If a destination shoot or out of town booking is cancelled or rescheduled by the client, the client assumes total financial responsibility for all non refundable airline tickets, hotel cancellation penalties, and change fees required to rebook transit.

Video Editing, Revisions, and On Site Rules
-
What happens if I need minor edits or changes to my videos?
To protect project timelines, ensure maximum creative clarity, and maintain precise delivery schedules, all video production packages include strict, structured editing guidelines. Prior to filming, project concepts, promotional goals, and featured business details are discussed and agreed upon to ensure complete alignment between both parties.
-
Single Consolidated Edit Request: Packages include one single complimentary round of minor revisions. All requested adjustments must be submitted together in one single, comprehensive written email. Fragmented revision notes submitted across multiple text messages, direct messages, or separate emails will not be accepted.
-
Strict Seventy Two Hour Review Window: Clients have exactly seventy two hours from the time draft media is delivered via email to review the footage and submit their single consolidated list of minor adjustments. If no written revisions are received within seventy two hours, the video is officially deemed final, fully approved as delivered, and closed.
-
Approved Minor Revisions: Minor revisions are strictly limited to minor technical adjustments, such as correcting a text misspelling, adjusting on screen font positioning, or fine tuning audio volume levels using existing project assets.
-
Major Structural Alterations and Fee Structure: Complete creative concept shifts, changing chosen background music tracks, re sequencing video arrangements, replacing approved video clips, or adding new graphic overlays constitute major re edits. Major re edits require additional editing fees billed prior to execution.
-
No Re Shoots Under Revision Terms: Revision rights apply exclusively to the raw footage captured during the original four hour production block. Requesting new footage, fresh venue angles, or updated product captures requires purchasing a separate filming block.

-
Overhead Music and Audio Protection: To prevent copyright strikes, audio mutes, or stream interruptions on digital platforms, venue owners agree to mute loud overhead copyrighted background music during active filming blocks upon request.
-
Lighting and Environmental Standards: While professional portable camera gear is utilized, clients are responsible for providing reasonable physical access and workable venue lighting. Extreme environmental impediments or unsafe conditions on site do not extend the four hour daily shooting window.
-
Timely Delivery of Client Logos and Graphics: All official business logos, promotional website links, and specific offer text must be submitted in writing prior to or on the scheduled shoot date. Patrick Blackwood Media Brand holds zero liability for project completion delays caused by missing client collateral.
